Safe Find-Antique Victor Safe

with 2 comments

Here is an antique Victor Safe & Lock Co. safe, once again from Cincinnati, OH.  This safe was for sale in Lehigh Valley, PA, which is northwest of Philadelphia.  I couldn’t find much on the company itself, but I did find out that the graphics on the door state that this safe is the Highest Award Grand Prize Winner at the St. Louis Exposition of 1904.  This safe was found in an attic, thus it is well-preserved and looks great.  The owner has the working combination and the keys for the two lock boxes inside of the safe.  As I have seen on other safes, the owner had their name painted on the top front of the safe, though it looks like they might have done it themselves.
