The X5 is fuel up, the bags are packed and the good bye’s have been said.  I’m headed to the Reno/Tahoe area.  This is where the 1000 coin journey will start.  I plan to only use the 1000 John Adams coins.  These coins are from the Philadelphia mint, I acquired this sealed $1000 box of coins back in 2007 from a bank on Saint Simons Island.  If you recall these are possible error coins, and they did come out of the Jacksonville Federal Reserve Bank.  So opening the rolls is like scratching a lotto ticket, who knows I might just get lucky!

Coast to Coast on 1000 Coins

So I have decided to take the X5 for a spin.  I’m driving Coast to Coast on 1000 John Adams Presidential dollars, which I have pulled out of the old safe.   I’ll be behind the wheel of my  BMW X5 4.6is.  I actually started in Vegas, but shot up to San Francisco and will be driving to Saint Simons Island, GA.  I have a few stops in mind, though I haven’t really planned a thing.  It’s a true road trip and I’m exited to see how things roll out!
