Kombucha Update

leave a comment »

I’m happy to say GT’s Kombucha is back on the shelves.  They reworked the formula as to not have it ferment to the old levels.  I have been told and have seen chatter on their facebook page that the original will be re-released and be regulated to the over 21 crowd.  I say welcome back GT’s Kombucha!  Make sure to check out all Coinologist Heath and Wellness posts here.

Salmon by Morgan

This delicious looking salmon is ready for the grill.  My friend Morgan has a great connection in Alaska for fresh salmon.  He has it sent FedEx right after his buddy catches and filets it.  Needless to say he is a creative cook, notice the raspberries!  Make sure to check out all Coinologist Heath and Wellness posts here.

Kombucha | Organic~Raw~Probiotic

I found Kombucha about six months ago.  It is an amazing beverage, you will either love it or hate it.  Some call it a drink, some call it an elixer, but no matter what you call it, Kombucha is incredible, it’s been used around the world for centuries to help restore balance and vitality.  The brand I fell in love with and continues to be my favorite is GT’s.  I urge you to read through the health benefits.  Here’s the catch on buying Kombucha right now.  This beverage goes through a fermentation process, with that said alcohol is created.  This amounts to about 0.5%, about the same amount in a near beer.  An issue arose that the fermentation process didn’t stop once bottled, and the amount of alcohol content could increase.  GT’s voluntarily pulled their product from the shelves and is researching this.  That’s a huge move, since they did $40,000,000.00 in business last year.  So it’s been a few months now and I still can’t find GT’s on the shelf, but some smaller companies are filling the void at the moment.  I found kombucha at Whole Foods, although most health stores carry it.  Make sure to check out all Coinologist Heath and Wellness posts here.

Cayenne Pepper: The King of Medicinal Herbs.

I have been a fan of hot foods for as long as I can remember.  I discovered cayenne pepper and have always kept a jar around to dash on my food.  While surfing the world wide web, I came across this informational site on Cayenne Pepper.  There are so many health benefits from cayenne.    I discovered there are different varieties including different heat values. I also found that drinking it is one of the best ways to ingest it.   You would be better served to go right to the web site and review the pages of great information it has to offer.  Make sure to check out all Coinologist Heath and Wellness posts here.
