Final Stop on Our Summer Road Trip.
Explore the America the Beautiful Quarters® Program
SARATOGA NATIONAL HISTORICAL PARK
The final stop on this year’s America the Beautiful Quarters Road Trip brings us to Saratoga National Historical Park. Established as a national site in 1938, the park was where American forces met, defeated and forced a major British surrender in the autumn of 1777. The Battles of Saratoga mark a significant American victory and turning point of the Revolutionary War. This crucial American triumph renewed patriots’ hopes for independence, secured essential foreign recognition and support, and forever changed the face of the world. The battlefield, a monument to the fallen and the restored country house of American General Philip Schuyler make up the three sites of Saratoga National Historical Park. Celebrate the history of our nation and expand your America the Beautiful Quarters collection today.
This is the last stop on the 2015 Summer Road Trip! Be sure to join us next year as we travel to five new national sites as part of the United States Mint America the Beautiful Quarters Program.
