Back to the Desert

I like to remember this day, if only because the trilogy had such an impact on my young impressionable mind.  November 5th is the day Marty Mc Fly went back in time.  This Hill Valley police car from Back to the Future II is rotting away on someone’s land in Lancaster, CA.  What a shame, when so many people are quite enthusiastic about movie memorabilia.  On the other hand I love the “Now and Then” feature of history.  Be sure to view the whole post to see this car in its movie debut and glory!

    • The flying police care BTTF2 is called a Spinner, it originally appeared in the film Blade Runner. It was designed by movie concept artist Syd Mean and developed by Gene Winfield for that film. You can see an example on display at the science fiction museum in Seattle, Wa.
