Look out for Uncle Sam’s cash. Washington, D.C., March 4. These two women, Mrs. Blair [Marion Glass] Banister (left), Assistant U.S. Treasurer, and Mrs. Nellie Tayloe Ross, Director of the Mint, play important roles in the handling of Uncle Sam’s huge money base. Mrs. Ross is a former Governor of Wyoming while Mrs. Banister is a sister of Senator Carter Glass of Virginia, 3/4/38.  Check out other Coinologist archive photo posts here.
