Numismatic Convention | 1937

with one comment

Rare old coins on display at numismatic convention. Washington, D.C. Aug. 24. The collection of first coins minted in America, dating back as early as 1652, was envied by coin collectors from all over the country as they attended the American Numismatic Convention here today. The collection is owned by T. James Clarke, (center) President of the American Numismatic Association, who is showing them to F.E. Hodge (Left) and C. Shirley Leachman. The coins are made of silver, 8/24/37.  Check out other Coinologist archive photo posts here.

  1. Have you ever used the Collector’s Eye App for the android phone to visually Identify a coin? I found it on the android market and it sounds cool…just wondering if it works.
