2011 American Eagle One Ounce Gold Uncirculated Coin

with one comment

The 2011 American Gold Eagle Uncirculated coin was brought into existence by
Public Law:  99-185.  You can purchase these coins from precious metal dealers at current spot prices plus a dealer premium or you can purchase directly from the U.S. Mint and get a coin with the “W” mint mark, which stands for West Point, and  gives the coin a numismatic value.  The obverse is Augustus Saint Gaudens
modified design of Saint Gaudens’ U.S. $20 Gold Coin Design, “Standing Liberty”.  The  reverse
design “Family of Eagles” motif, symbolizing family tradition and unity, by Mrs. Miley Frances Busiek.
