The One Hundred Trillion Dollar Note

leave a comment »

I know the United States is in its worst financial crisis since the Great Depression, but in no way does it feel like it.  Then we have a country like Zimbabwe, which is suffering from hyperinflation, thus the 100,000,000,000,000. note.  Now in no way are we comparing apples to apples here, but it can make you think a little about our future.  I am no expert in the field of economics, but when one hundred trillion dollars can barely buy a bushel of oranges, I can’t believe this would be good for any citizens confidence.   A new Zimbabwe Dollar has since been introduced removing many zeros from the notes.  These bills remained legal tender until June 30, 2009.  What a great addition to any collection, now readily available on the internet, become a trillion-air today!

This is how many Billion Dollar Notes you need to get your Trillion Dollar note.
