The American Veterans Disabled for Life Commemorative Coin Act (Act) was passed by Congress and signed into law on July 17, 2008.  This law allowed the U.S. Mint to issue The 2010 American Veterans Disabled for Life Commemorative Coins to honor the men and women who have served our country so bravely.  By purchasing one or both of these beautiful coins, you will be helping our soldiers that have fought so hard, and sacrificed so much for our country.  I can think of no better way for the numismatic world to show their appreciation and patriotism.  Thank you for all that have served from The Coinologist.
