It’s hard to imagine that President John F. Kennedy would have turned 98 years old this month. Born May 29, 1917, in Brookline, Mass., highlights of his brief time in office included the launch of Freedom 7, the Limited Nuclear Test Ban Treaty and establishment of the Peace Corps. He also appointed United States Mint Director Eva Adams, who served in the office until 1969.

Celebrate his birthday this year with special keepsakes like the 50th Anniversary Kennedy Half Dollar Silver Coin Collection! Released last year, it includes four Kennedy half dollars struck in 90 percent silver with four different finishes – one from each of the United States Mint facilities in West Point, Philadelphia, San Francisco and Denver. Perfect for any collector or a great gift for someone special!
