Close up view of the entryway of the United States Mint at Denver, Colorado. This photo was taken between 1906 & 1910 by Louis Charles McClure He remains relatively obscure, but his cityscape pictures of Denver are among the most accurate and artistic depictions of any American city during the City Beautiful era. Those of you in Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex with the need for some safe and private storage, have I found the place for you. Inwood Security Vaults was established in 1981 and has no bank affiliation, which means you receive complete anonymity. They have a garage that is large enough for a truck and provides complete privacy. Inwood Village offers security service 24/7. All of their storage areas are atmospherically controlled. They are very close Love Field, which is a plus for anyone who needs quick access when flying in. Check out other Coinologist Depository posts here.

I was recently back in the Bay Area and once again found myself at Lozano’s Car Wash in Mountain View, which has a classic Americana design that resonates throughout California. Here is where I first stumbled upon an antique safe and decided to create the “Safe” category for The|Coinologist. This safe was manufactured by the Cary Safe Company of Buffalo, NY. I would say it is no worse for ware, though the fun dog magnet has seem run off. Check out other Coinologist “Safes” posts here.
