2011 Kennedy Uncirculated Half-Dollar

The Kennedy Half-Dollar was created to honor President Kennedy. It was authorized by Congress just a month after his death, the U.S. Mint used designs on hand by sculptors Gilroy Roberts and Frank Gasparro, which allowed striking of the coin to begin in January 1964. This coin has been in production for 47 years, though it is currently only minted for collectors. The coin nearly vanished from circulation after its release due to collectors, hoarders, and people still wanting to “Ask not what your country can do for you; ask what you can do for your country.” Even though ample supplies of half dollars are now available, their circulation is extremely limited. You can order bags or rolls of 2011 Kennedy Half-Dollars from the U.S. Mint.

What Not To Buy!
Here is a prime example of what any coin collector should NEVER spend their hard earned money on. Every bit of a coins worth is in its originality. I won’t mention who is selling this, and I certainly won’t mention the unbelievable price they are charging. It’s praised to be layered in .999 PURE 24 KARAT GOLD. That ruins the coin right there. Well your never going to be able to take that to the bank, oh forgive me, it’s always going to be worth 50 cents.
