This is the fourth quarter to be issued in 2014 and the 24th overall in the America the Beautiful Quarters Program. The 2014 America the Beautiful Quarters Rolls and Bags – Great Sand Dunes National Park pay tribute to the beauty of one of Colorado’s most treasured parks. Its reverse design features a father and son playing in the sand next to the creek bed. The distinctive mountains and sand dunes are featured in the background. Inscriptions are GREAT SAND DUNES, COLORADO, 2014 and E PLURIBUS UNUM. Design candidates were developed in consultation with representatives of Great Sand Dunes National Park and Preserve. These coins are available today!

The second released in 2014, the Grace Coolidge First Spouse Gold Coin features a portrait of Grace Coolidge on its obverse (heads). As first lady, she promoted education for the deaf and drew attention to the needs of the disabled. Mrs. Coolidge used her position to promote many groups, including leadership and community service activities for boys and girls. The reverse (tails) of this coin depicts three hands finger-spelling the letters USA in American Sign Language against the backdrop of the White House. This coin is available today!

The United States Mint is proud to offer the 2014 America the Beautiful Five Ounce Silver Uncirculated Coin honoring Arches National Park in Utah. Three inches in diameter and made of .999 fine silver, the reverse (tails) depicts Delicate Arch, a 65-foot freestanding natural arch, with La Sal Mountains in the background. It is a widely recognizable landmark in Utah and the most famous arch found in the park. The Olympic torch relay for the 2002 Winter Olympics passed through this arch.
