The United States Mint is proud to offer the 2015 March of Dimes Silver Dollar, commemorating the 75th anniversary of the establishment of the March of Dimes Foundation. Offered in both a proof and an uncirculated finish, the obverse (heads) features a profile view of President Franklin D. Roosevelt and Dr. Jonas Salk, two leaders in the fight against polio. The reverse (tails) design depicts a baby cradled in the hand of a parent, representing the foundation’s dedication to the health of babies everywhere.
