As the 50^th anniversary of Marilyn Monroe’s untimely passing approaches, The Perth Mint has released a special commemorative coin to celebrate her unbridled life and incredible career.

An American actress, singer and model who graced the screen with her luminous beauty, Marilyn Monroe was considered the epitome of the blond bombshell.

Struck from 1oz of 99.9% pure silver in proof quality, the Marilyn Monroe^™ coin depicts a photographic image of the actress set against a background of film with stars. The design also includes a representation of Marilyn’s signature and The Perth Mint’s ‘P’ mintmark.
