2007 American Platinum Eagle Reverse Proof Coin
The 10th anniversary of the American Platinum Eagle coin was celebrated with a special minting process. The U.S. Mint created an enhanced “Reverse Proof” which is stunning. I especially like how the eagle and shield design stands out with this unique reverse proof technique. This anniversary set included two one-half ounce platinum coins, one being a regular proof coin and the other a reverse proof coin. It was minted at the U.S. Mint Facility at West Point, NY.
