Platinum

with 3 comments

I have always loved platinum.  I am partial to the color silver, so this precious metal has always had a special place in my heart.  More rare than gold, just about double the value, it is a fine metal.  The atomic symbol is Pt and has an atomic number of 78.  The US mint makes platinum coins that are breathtaking.  I would like to own the whole series, since it’s 1997 conception, but that would cost the average person’s yearly salary.  Maybe one day!  Here is a picture of the 2008 American Platinum Eagle One Ounce Uncirculated Coin, if you have an extra $2400, why don’t you pick one up.
